5. What do you feel is your main contribution to your internship? What have you done at your internship that makes you proud? Why?


            During my internship, I have contributed a lot, but the main thing I feel like I contributed was the website I created, and it also makes me proud of my work. I am most proud of my website because I did all the work myself, and was able to change it to what my boss wanted out of the website. Over the course of working on the website, I first created an outline of what it should look like. Then I added in all of the material and made it look visually appealing. During the whole time, I was reviewing it with my boss to keep in line with what she wanted out of it. Because of these aspects, my website it the project I am most proud of during my internship

So far I have learned a lot about myself. As much fun as I had in my internship I couldn't see myself working that job for the rest of my life. In my career I want to be out in the field and working with hands on things. I could not see myself working in a desk for the rest of my life. On the other hand the work that I did was fun. I enjoyed making a website and I wish I could have worked more with the other websites. That part of the job I could do. 9. What major problems or frustrations have you experienced or observed in your work? How did you handle it?              My main project was creating a new website for some old material that my boss had and wanted updated. So of course, my main problem came from this project. The problem was that I needed to put videos into my website that had Closed Captioning, but that did not take up a lot of size. I also needed to create the closed captioning for the videos. This was a problem because I did not know how to add closed captioning files to an imbedded video. So, to handle it I talked with my boss about the site and we decided to go with a YouTube player so the closed captioning files could be added easier, and for the closed captioning I found a site that was easy to work on. Because of deciding to go with a YouTube player, and working on a website for CC I fixed my problem of videos on my website.

3. How have your classroom experiences prepared you for the internship? What do you wish you had learned prior to the internship? Many different experiences I have had in the classroom have helped me during my internship. They have helped me with the quality of my work and my ability to change when something needs to be fixed. For example, one of my teachers changed a project after we had worked on it a bit and it helped me learn how to adapt more. Similarly, I had to change a project up a bit after I had worked on it for a while. Other experiences in the classroom have prepared me by improving my quality of work, so when I am working in my internship I can bring a higher quality of work. Before my internship I learned a lot of good skills from many of my classes but there are a few things that I wished I learned before I started.
